このツアーの一環で〈Shall Not Fade〉レーベルナイトが、日本・東京と韓国・ソウルに初上陸すること記念して、東京でのパーティーをサポートする広義のハウスミュージックを軸に活動するパーティーコレクティヴ『CYK』クルー、ハウス&ブレークビーツ&レイヴミュージック・レーベルプラットフォーム〈N.O.S.〉メンバー、韓国・ソウルでのパーティーをサポートするDJ BowlcutとWood X、さらにDJ Bowlcutが率いる新興レーベル〈Hazed & Confucious (a.k.a HZDCFC)〉の所属アーティスト、東アジアのDJ/プロデューサーたち総勢13人が〈Shall Not Fade〉のカタログからベストトラックを選曲してプレイリストを作成！

1. Deejay Astral – “Never Gonna Let U Go” [CYK / Nari]

「〈Shall Not Fade〉にハマるきっかけになったトラック。とてもシンプルなサンプリングだけど頭に残ります。」

This track is what got me into Shall Not Fade. Very simple sampling, but it gets stuck in your head.

 

2. Nick Araguay – “Keep Dreamin’ The Same Dream” [CYK / Naoki Takebayashi]

「神秘的な雰囲気たっぷり。」

Filled with a mysterious atmosphere.

It feels like taking a ACID shower. Good voice sample.

It’s hard, psychedelic and emotional.

「僕の大好きな2人のアーティストによる甘く切ないローファイ&ベーストラック。僕はこのトラックの強烈な90年代のUKヴァイブが大好きで、僕のセットの定番曲でもあります。もちろんダンスフロア以外でもこの曲はよく聴いています。」

Bittersweet Lo-Fi & Bass track from two of my favorite artists. I love the strong 90s UK vibes on this track and while a fixture in my sets. I also enjoy listening to it off the dancefloor.

 

6. LK – Carousel [N.O.S. / Frankie $]

「僕はハートフルな歌詞とクセになるベースラインを持っている、山下達郎の原曲の大ファンです。LKのエディットは上品かつ機能的で、原曲よりドラムを強めて引き締めたローエンドは最高に気持ちの良いシンガロングを日本のダンスフロアで生み出します。」

I’m a massive fan of the Tatsuro Yamashita original with its heartfelt lyrics and infectious bassline. LK’s edit is tasteful and functional – beefing up the drums and tightening the low end to create the ultimate feel-good singalong heater for Japanese dancefloors.

 

7. Pierre Moritz – Jsors Le Coxis Du Fémur [N.O.S. / k_yam]

「このトラックはCannonball Adderleyが“Capricorn”を演奏する前のMCをサンプリングしていて（ライヴ盤の『Music,You All』に収録されてます）、この元の曲が大好きだからPierre Moritzのトラックも大好きです。」

This track samples Cannonball Adderley addressing the crowd before launching into the song Capricorn (which can be found on the live album ‘Music, You All’) – I’m a big fan of the original track so it is no surprise that I love this Pierre Moritz version too.

 

8. Viers – A Moment In the Machine [N.O.S. / Romy Mats]

「非常にシンプルでミニマルだけど、このトラックには残響がマシーンテクノにもたらす美しい効果が詰まっています。」

Very simple and minimal, but this track include full of beautiful effects that reverberation brings to machine techno.

 

9. Rudolf C – “Da Mind Da Body Da Soul” [HZDCFC / DJ Bowlcut]

「ジャングルのサンプル使いと深いパッド使いに優れています。そして僕は、Rudolf Cの、UKジャングルのサンプルパックからのヴォーカルの使い方が非常に魅力的で、大好きです。」

Excellent usage of jungle sample and deep pad movement. And I love the way of Rudolf C Utilize the vocal from UK jungle sample pack which is very addictive.

 

10. LK – Devotion to [HZDCFC/ Anchore]

「ぼんやりとした夢の中でこのトラックを聴いたことがあるような、そんな気分になります。」

I feel like i’ve heard this track in a hazed dream.

 

11. DJ Boring – For Tahn [HZDCFC / Jae Young]

「シンプルで洗練されていて、オールドスクールだけどコンテンポラリー（現代的）です。」

Simple yet exquisite, old school but contemporary.

 

12. Steven Be Calm – White Leather (Bonus Track) [HZDCFC / Purvitae]

「神秘的で、ぼんやりとしています。」

Mystical and hazy.

 

13. Demuja – Move Like That [Liminal.ity / Wood X]

「DemujaはPistilで開催した僕の『Liminal.ity』というパーティーにブッキングした初めてのアーティストで、それは実に素晴らしい一夜でした。そしてその夜は、パーティーを続けて、ソウル（の人々やシーン）に新しい様々なハウスミュージックを触れさせるための挑戦を続けようと僕に感じさせてくれました。」

Demuja was the first artist I booked for my Liminality party in Pistil, it was an excellent night, and it inspired me to keep up with the party and to try and keep exposing Seoul to new and various forms of house music!
