〈Nike〉がレコードにインスパイアされた新しいAir Max 90を8月24日に発売することが、スニーカー専門メディア『Sneaker Freaker』のニュースによって明らかとなった。

 

Air Max 90 Vinylモデルは、黒の生地をベースに、ヴァイナルの溝を彷彿とさせるアッパーのデザイン、赤いアクセント、アイスブルーのソール、そしてシュータンには、〈Nike〉のロゴがラベル位置に配された可愛らしいミニチュアのヴァイナルがデザインされている。

 

〈Nike〉は、6月にもAir Max 90の「Mixtape Side A」と「Mixtape Side B」というモデルを発売しており、このモデルはシュータンに「SIDE A」もしくは「SIDE B」というプリントと「33 1/3 RPM」という回転数もプリントされている。またアウトソールには、トラックリストを模したデザインが施されている。
