遂に今週の土曜日はHOLICの4周年！！！

今は亡きロンドン伝説のクラブTHE END/AKAでHOLICが始動してから4年!!!!

紆余曲折がありましたが、なんとかイギリス人も認めるロンドンのトップパーティーへと成長しました。

去年末にはイーストロンドン最大規模でHOLICのカウントダウンパーティーを開催し大成功を収めた事は記憶に新しく残っている。

また年始にはHOLIC JapanTourと題し、東京はWOMB、大阪はTriangleで開催され、日本にHOLIC旋風を巻き起こした。そして、2011年ホーム、ロンドンでは一発めの開催となるHOLICはなんと4周年!!!!

そりゃ興奮しちゃいますよね。

今回のゲストは、ハンブルグからDIYNAMIC MUSICのオーナーSolomunと、レーベルを代表する看板アーティストStimming(Live)が登場します！！！

３年くらい前に小さなクラブの２ndルームで観たStimmingのLiveがあまりにも衝撃的で、いつか呼びたいなと思ってたんで、かなり楽しみです。

After the huge success of NYE, HOLIC went to Japan tour and we had great support at WOMB in Tokyo, Triangle in Osaka. It was a really amazing experience and all our friends won’t let us go back to UK. But we are back! Coming up end of this month is HOLIC’s 4th Birthday with 2 special guests from Hamburg, Germany.

HOLIC announced to corroborate with Diynamic records for our special event. Firstly we’d like to introduce about Diynamic records as you know.

The label DIYNAMIC was founded in connection with the party services DIY and carries its philosophy already in its name:
Do It Yourself!
In a very short time the Hamburg label could attract attention to its music and found fans worldwide. In a time, in which everything had to be most minimalistic, DJ´s´and Clubbers were amazed. Meloudiousness and Deepness – there is no contradiction to Detroit and Chicago. So the DIYNAMIC-sound was defined by the protagonists of the label, Solomun as producer, H.O.S.H., Stimming, the collective Turmstrasse and Paulo Olarte, etc.

Then this time, the label owner Solomun and the biggest young talent Stimming are coming from DIYNAMIC for celebrate our birthday.

SOLOMUN –
the man behind the well known german Diynamic label and a popular dj and producer steadily releasing on multiple labels such as Buzzin Fly, Freerange, Get Physical, Phil E, Mobilee, Dessous, Compost, Four:Twenty and Leena Music and, ofcourse, his own Diynamic label.
Diynamic label enjoys the sort of reverence usually reserved for labels three times its age and has been instrumental in allowing new talents in electronic music, such as Stimming, HOSH, Ost & Kjex, Uner and Solomun himself to shine.
With high profile support from djs Steve Bug, Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos through to the critically acclaimed 2009 debut LP, “Dance Baby”, which saw the likes of Mixmag, Electronic Beats and even itunes list in their top albums of the year, the responses to Solomun material are unusually unanimous.

STIMMING:
The Hamburg producer records mostly for the hometown Diynamic imprint, crafting gently wobbly and highly melodic tracks that tug ever-so-carefully at the heartstrings. It’s a sound that’s caught on among the DJ elite, as each of his two most recent collaborative productions, ‘Madeline’ (with Einmusik) and ‘Radar’ (with H.O.S.H.), have threatened the top of the RA charts. With a stunning track on the way called ‘Una Pena’ that samples Chilean folk singer Violetta Parra, we’re guessing that run isn’t likely to change.
There is plenty more to come, from this talented young producer.

最後におまけっぽくなって申し訳ないんですが、僕の地元京都の友人で、前回のHOLIC@Triangleにも出演してくれていたMasanori Mikamiが見事にSteave Lawlerが主宰するremixのコンペティション”Gimme some more”で2nd Placeに輝きVivaからのリリースがさっき決定したみたいです。
