"In The House" の次回作を Gilles Peterson が担当

クラブ・ジャズ・シーンの大御所 Gilles Peterson が、Defected から "In The House" シリーズをリリースすることが明らかになったのでお知らせしたい。

これまでに Danny Krivit、Louie Vega、Kenny Dope など、数多くのトップDJをフィーチャーし、全世界で爆発的な人気を誇ってきた Defected の "In The House" シリーズを、今回は Gilles Peterson が担当する。Gilles Peterson は、アシッド・ジャズと呼ばれるジャンルを世に根付かせた、世界で最も知名度と影響力を持つ人物であり、ジャズを中心にしながらも、細分化し続けるクラブミュージックをひとつの音楽として捉え、ジャンルに縛られない音楽の楽しみ方を提案してきた。また、名門レーベル Talkin' Loud のレーベル・オーナーで、昨年にはさらに Brownswood Recordings を立ち上げ、そのトラックは Steve Bug の "Fablic 37" にも収録されている。今回の "In The House" は３枚構成になっており、Disc1 はハウスのミックス、Disc2 は主に昔のソウルやファンク、Disc3 は Alexander Hope、DJ Sneak、Carl Craig、Kenny Dope などのトラックが "In The House" だけに使われているといった、とても贅沢なものになっている。
