Westbam Injured in Japan
German Techno Pioneer Westbam has cancelled his entire August schedule after a car accident in Japan where he broke his heel. According to a statement on the stars website he has cancelled all upcoming bookings with no word when he will be back behind the decks.
Involved in the dance music scene for over 20 years the veteran jock has been a leader of the German Techno scene since the early days and along with Paul Van Dyk became one of the key figures involved in the annual Berlin Love Parade. Last month he took part in the demonstration against the decision made by the Berlin city government to cancel this years event.
