次の "Choice" は Kenny Dope がコンパイル

Danny Howells コンパイルによる作品がリリースされたばかりのコンピレショーン・シリーズ "Choice-A Collection of Classics" の次回作を、Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez が手掛けることになった。
ハウス・シーンの大御所ユニット Masters at Work で Kenny とパートナーを組む Louie Vega や John Digweed、Jeff Mills、Danny Tenaglia など、各シーンの重鎮たちをコンパイラーとしてセレクトし、彼らの音楽的ルーツを披露してもらうというコンセプトで、'００年にスタートした "Choice-A Collection of Classics"。UKのレーベル Azuli の看板作品とも言える本作は、数多くのコンピレーション作品が散在するダンス・ミュージック・シーンでも高い人気と信頼度を得ていることでも有名だ。
Kenny のコンパイルによる今作のリリースは５月１日を予定。ハウス〜ヒップ・ホップ・シーンまで広く認知されている真のマスターであるだけに、ディープな作品が期待できそう。
