Longtime friends and producers M.A.N.D.Y. have put their hands up to tackle the second in Resist Music’s “At The Controls” series which was kicked off earlier this year by everybody’s favourite scruffy haired DJ/producer/label boss, James Holden.
The German duo will be hoping to follow up on their success of their popular “Body Language Vol. 1” mix CD that they released on their Get Physical label in 2005. Despite being lured over to Resist for this new CD the boys, alongside fellow label bosses DJ T and Booka Shade, are busy utilizing the current Get Physical hype to launch numerous compilations onto the scene. DJ T himself just released “Body Language Vol. 2” and the label is also pushing lesser known talent like Canadian DJ Heidi who mixed “Monza Club Ibiza Compilation Vol. 1” which is to be released this month.
“At The Controls” offers the team of Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer a chance to stretch their wings over two CDs. Holden used his time for Resist to insert some of Border Community’s talent like Nathan Fake in amongst tracks from a wide range of artists including Aphex Twin and Richie Hawtin’s Plastikman and you can expect M.A.N.D.Y. to also rely on their own label’s roster, their previous mix CDs showcasing Get Physical acolytes like Sunsetpeople and Chelonis R. Jones.
“M.A.N.D.Y. At The Controls” will be released on Resist Music during October.
