Cream @ Nation Liverpool is celebrating its 13th birthday in style on Saturday October 8th. Despite shutting its doors as a weekly club night in 2002 the UK clubbing institution continues on at considerable strength releasing numerous popular compilation CDs and organizing the world famous Creamfields event. In addition the team behind Cream have recently initiated a weekly club night in Leeds called Cream Classics and have also managed to organize a related radio show.
The birthday party being held at Nation Liverpool will be headlined by Erick Morillo who will be playing a Cream Classics set in the main room. Supporting Morillo in the main room will be Cream Ibiza resident Gareth Wyn. In the Courtyard headliners Fergie and Judge Jules will be taking a break from Radio1 to help the team celebrate thirteen years in the game. Lastly, in the Annexe Graeme Park and Mike Pickering will be playing a versus set that will pay tribute to both Liverpool's Cream and neighbouring city Manchester's legendary Hacienda. With Cream @ Nation in its thirteenth year, Cream Ibiza in its tenth and upcoming Creamfields events in Russia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico on the horizon the Cream name looks to be at its strongest yet.
