Yet Another People's Choice Awards
November 5th 2005 will see the first ever Kiss Awards take place at the ExCel London. The world renowned English radio show Kiss100 has joined forces with alcoholic beverage Strongbow Sirrus to host this awards ceremony intended to celebrate the best in urban and dance music. There are twelve categories in all and among them are those designed to acknowledge the hottest producer, most downloaded track and best live gig. Artists such as Faithless, Basement Jaxx, Mylo, the Streets, Audio Bullys, Outkast and the Neptunes have all been nominated for this inaugural event which exhibits a slight leaning towards the more commercial side of urban and dance.
We have been promised that many big names will be performing at the awards ceremony with British urban stars Craig David and Ms Dynamite the first acts to be announced for this increasingly Anglo-centric event. Members of the public are able to attend the night by purchasing advance tickets on the internet. Also open on the internet is the ability to vote for your favourite nominees in this latest addition to the ever growing congregation of people's choice awards.
