Another mixed bag of top quality artists from all over the world this week on Japan's premier electronic music radio station and kicking things off is one of samurai's favourite artists, the genius that is Kid Loco with a exclusive hour long show. Mixed at his studio in France especially for the station he manages to blend a range of musical styles and patterns into a compulsive aural feast. Don't miss this one!
Next up is the Compost radio show with special guest Alex Attias. Celebrating after the successful release of his debut artist album as Mustang, 'Back Home' Alex is presented by the charming Michael Rutten with the freshest picks from all over the world.
Next up is one of the hottest Japanese production duo's doing the rounds on dancefloors all over Asia, DJ Maar and DJ Daruma. Well known for their quick cutting on their last release they crammed over 50 tracks onto one CD. It must have been a licensing nightmare for the label but for fans they're one of the freshest acts rocking the clubs. Check them out.
Another new show this week, this time from Stellar Music in Singapore. One of Asia's premier concert promoters they kick off their new show on samurai with a exclusive mix prepared especially for the station by Barry Gilbey from Mara Soundsystem.
Some Hiphop to finish off with and, as I'm sure you'll agree when you listen to the show, it's one of the best live sets broadcasted on samurai so far. Cool groovy beats and funky vibes Californian duo Haul and Mason had Shibuya Nuts going crazy. The show, recorded live at the event demonstrates the skill of the pair behind the decks.
Some very special shows coming up next update including show from Marine Parade's head honcho Adam Freeland and some other very special guests.
