Diesel Fueled Music

Going on its seventh year, Diesel-U-Music is an international contest to discover amateur musicians in three main genres. Any unsigned artist is eligible to enter into one of these categories: rock/indie, urban/hip-hop, or electronic/dance.
Each demo will be reviewed by a panel of judges, made up of industry execs, press and past winners. Artists who make it past the jury will be put online so the public can vote for their favorite musician.
The finalists will then be rounded up in London where the Diesel-U-Music Awards will be held. The winners will perform live in front of a televised audience and (most likely) walk away with a record deal. Some past winners include Mylo, Infadels, DJ Yoda, Tom Vek and others.
Demos are accepted until May 22nd with the shortlist being announced the following day. Go to the official site to enter.
