Radio 1's 36 Hour Ibiza Week Uncovered

Radio 1 announced this week that they're to stage a whole week of broadcasts from Ibiza in August, transmitting 36 hours of dance music from the Mediterranean party island.
Following on from our 'Decade In Ibiza' celebrations last year, I'm very proud to unveil our plans for Radio 1's Week In Ibiza this summer," said Jason Carter, Editor Live Music, Radio 1.
"Our Ibiza coverage is one of the key dance moments on Radio 1's live events calendar and this year we will be extending our live coverage across a whole week to give the broadest reflection ever of what's going on from Ibiza."
Sven Vath, Judge Jules and John Digweed are amongst DJs whose sets will be transmitted live in the early hours between Sunday August 6 and 13, with various daytime events also being covered by the UK stations regular presenters,
"This summer in Ibiza we've really come up with something a bit special," Pete Tong added.
"Ibiza is still the number one destination for fans of dance and electronic music around the world and the week of parties will reflect the incredible diversity of music and entertainment that is available on the island."
