Carl Cox Crashes Out
Carl Cox had to pull out of his U.S. tour this week citing ill health as the reason for canceling the remaining 3 weeks of gigs. A statement released by his management said "Carl would like to express his sadness at this situation and he hopes to make up the cancelled shows in the near future."
It's the second time he's had to cancel dates due to serious illness. In 1996 he was rushed to hospital in New York after complaining of heart pains that spread to his arm. Doctors diagnosed the problem as being an infection in the fluid around the heart caused by exhaustion and from lack of sleep.
This time Carl's not taking any chances and taking time off hoping to be fighting fit in time for his Ibiza debut this year on July 19th.
