Moby renewed his campaign against President Bush and the Republicans this
week, attacking the US administration over their 2 trillion dollar spend on
the war on Iraq.
"Let's look at it in numeric form: $2,000,000,000,000.00, It's just so
depressing," said Moby on his online journal.
"What else could've been done with that money? health care for most
Americans? Housing? Education? New police and fire stations?" he suggested.
"The Bush administration will go down as the worst and most incompetent
presidential administration in the history of the United States," he
predicted.
"The Republicans have become the party of sleaze and corruption, they're
gross and they need to go. They've become the political equivalent of
dung-beetles; except that dung-beetles are cuter and actually serve more of
a purpose."
In music news, Moby geared up for the release of his single Slipping Away, a
new version of the track which appeared on his recent album Hotel. Remixers
selected include Axwell, Zloot and MHC, while the CD includes two Tiga
remixes of All I Need Is To Be. Release date is January 23.
