Radio 1 rap king Tim Westwood DJed at Dance 4 Life AIDS awareness party in
London last weekend and delivered a typically strangulated message for the
kids.
"The most important thing in life is to look after your health. Sometimes
you might feel invincible,” Westwood, who was himself shot in a drive-by
shooting some years ago, pointed out.
“But understand one thing, you’ve gotta’ strap it up before you slap it
up!" (BBC)
Though the notoriously garrulous presenter was apparently recommending
wearing condoms his advice struck a chord with US Mens News Daily columnist
Denise Noe, who last May called for teenagers to strap on dildos,
particularly girls.
“While it is best for adolescents to avoid any type of partnered sexual
activity, the penetration of a male by a female wearing a strap-on dildo is
far safer than the more usual sex acts,” she pointed out.
“A teen girl who possesses a strap-on may suggest to boys that they perform
a sex act that is kinkier but far safer than the ones boys usually suggest
to girls,” she proposed.
More seriously, new data on HIV infection rates published this week revealed
that the UK topped North European per capita numbers last year, with five
times as many infections in the UK as Germany. 45% of the 6,756 infected
Brits were diagnosed in London, putting London’s HIV infection rates on a
par with Estonia, (where HIV infection rates are the highest in all Europe.)
