After a successful fundraising gig in October, with Danny Howells and Nick Warren mixing it up for the victims of hurricane Katrina, the charity group Involved is back with another money making plan this time for United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). This time dance music fans all over the world will be able to bid on VIP passes and the opportunity to meet their favourite artists in an online auction with DJs like Richie Hawtin, Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Carl Cox, James Zabiela, Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo and John Digweed all donating a little bit of time during their New Year's Eve sets for the cause.
Involved is a group that while based in the US is dedicated to helping those in need everywhere around the globe, managing to raise the funds through dance music events and DJ related auctions. With Steven Coe, Sasha's dad, as part of the team there are no prizes for guessing how the charity group is able to get such big names to support their cause. Also it won't come as a surprise to hear that in the past Sasha has donated not only his time, in the form of benefit gigs, but also some of his belongings to help Involved raise as much money as possible.
