international news _ 14th April 2005
One of the UK's most famous outdoor party organisations, responsible for one of the first large scale outdoor dance music festivals Tribal gathering has announced details of a return to the scene this year with an event held at an as yet undisclosed location that will give it's profits to a charity set up to raise money for those affected by the recent global humanitarian disasters.
Organised by Tribal Gathering in conjunction with Playing Alive, the charity that was set up to raise money through music events the event will take place on the 16th July and will feature a massive lineup of UK dance music favourites and an expected crowd of over 25,000. Following Tribal Gathering tradition of revealing the party location days before the event to keep the exact spot secret the only leak so far informs us that it will be in woodland somewhere near Leeds.
The stars really have come out in force for this one with the event boasting Groove Armada's only live show of the summer alongside stars from the UK and international scene. All proceeds from the event will be given to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) that is currently working to provide relief to over 2 million people displaced by 26 December tragedy.
