Radio 1 has announced details of it's new Sunday morning show that gives 6 of the hottest up and coming UK DJ talent and puts them on in rotation in the covered post essential mix slot. The lucky 6 will host their own show once every 6 weeks for 6 shows. After the 36 weeks Sir Pete of Tong will review the programming and make alterations as the great man sees fit. This could involve changes to artists or style as the development of dance music dictates.
The new show will take over the Dreem Teem's Soulful sessions that will be ceasing to broadcast on the station although the Teem's DJ Spoony will continue his weekend breakfast show. The new show will start on May 1st with the DJs running in this order of rotation. (Matt Cheetham)
